Air BP Workshop
Sustainability training workshop – what you need to know about planning for a sustainable future
Passenger travel is set to double to 8.2 billion by 2037 where emissions are estimated to raise to 4-8%. IATA have set a three point plan to mitigate CO2 emissions. This includes carbon-neutral growth by this year and reducing carbon emissions by 50% by 2050, relative to 2005 levels.
At Air BP, we’ve been pioneers of sustainable aviation for a decade, conducting ground-breaking SAF test flights, investing in low-carbon alternatives, including our own carbon neutral operations. We pioneered the first commercial supply of sustainable aviation fuel through an existing hydrant fuelling system in 2016 and have now supplied it into aircraft at 15 locations across three continents and are planning more. We work with BP’s dedicated carbon offsetting team to reduce our carbon footprint to help our customers offset their carbon. Since 2016 we’ve helped customers offset more than four million tonnes of carbon and what’s more these projects are changing lives, communities and are educating people.
